TY

Okay so today is the last day of 4th year and I'm getting seriously depressed! I really don't want it to end! It's been an amazing year and I've had so much fun! I'm really not looking forward to 5th year! :( Also one of my best friends is going back to Spain in 2 weeks and I'm going to miss her so much! So many of my best memories of this year have been with her and I think that school will be really weird next year without her :'( Goodbye Carmen! I'll miss you! xx

European Commission

I was in the European Commission in Meath for my second week of work experience. It was the Food and Veterinary Office and most of the people working there were food lawyers. I was mostly doing filing work there aswell but I found it kinda fun because I was working with my Dad :)

Law Firm

I worked in a law firm for a week and I mostly did like filing work. I had to enter old cases into the computer system before they were shredded. I was pretty much doing the same thing all week, I also opened the post for the law firm sometimes. I didn't find the work very challenging and I definitely would like to do something more difficult when I'm older.

Work Experience

I had to do two weeks of work experience for part of transition year. I did a week with a law firm and a week in the European Commission. It was really enjoyable. I still don't know if I want to work as a lawyer..

Leaving Cert subject choices..

Today we had to pick our subjects for leaving cert, thats all very well and good except I have absolutely no idea what course I want to do in college..

Brela, Croatia

Last summer I went to Brela, Croatia for 2 weeks! I went with my parents, my sister and my friend! I absolutely loved it, there were the most amazing beaches there :) It was literally like a little piece of heaven! The weather was gorgeous and everybody was so friendly, I really want to go back some day!

Work Experience and Austria

Everybody is trying to find 4th year work experience at the moment and I have no idea what I want to do when I'm older - so I've no idea what work experience I want to do :/

My friend wants me to come with her to Austria and work in a bakery for a month, I really want to go and I think it would be an amazing ezxperience but the problem is that it's in April and that means that I still have to find work experience for school for February and May.. What to do...?

Tomorrowland :)

I really want to go to Tomorrowland! It's a ridiculously cool music festival in Belgium :) In 2011 Afrojack, Avicii Fedde le Grand, Swedish House Mafia, Faithless, Tiësto, David Guetta and loads of other artists played there! It looks amazing!

Hello and superstitions :)

Hi, my name is Deirdre and I'm from Dublin, Ireland. I'm in 4th year in school. Am I the only person with serious issues about Friday the 13th?! I'm not usually a superstitious person (except about opening umbrellas in the house) but there's something about Friday the 13th that just gets to me. Maybe it's because everyone is jumpy all day and you're just expecting something bad to happen. Either way I absolutely hate it and I'll be happy once 00:01 comes along..
